designed and computer programmed specifically for this company
and is the result of the expertise of our staff. The reader
of a RETEC report is afforded the unique advantage of receiving
a report designed from a compilation of backgrounds in general
contracting, real estate, graphic design, and programming.
Having read hundreds of property inspection
reports, RETEC's founder is a former real estate broker who
realized the need for a thorough report that could be easily
understood and presented in a format that can be read with
ease by all individuals in the real estate cycle. Narrative
reports with "boiler plate" phrases often do not
address the specific conditions of the home, and checklist
formats do not offer explanations to help the layman understand
the nature of problems. Hand-written reports generated on
site leave much to be desired and are often far too difficult
to read and understand.
The RETEC report, however, is a personalized
computer-generated report emphasizing conditions in need of
attention in eye-catching bold print. It affords room for
explanations at the bottom of each individual section, and
the reader is often referred to a Reference Section at the
end of the report for detailed explanations of common problems.
Pages are organized in a logical, orderly fashion with components
on the page listed at each page footer for easy maneuvering
through the report.
